Poison Center: This is a link the poison control center at the University of New Mexico. After you open the link, you may want to bookmark this site, especially if you have small children.
WebMD: This is a very nice site for the layperson. You can easily search almost any topic. We recommend starting your research on this site. If you or your children want information about a certain diagnosis or treatment, try searching it on this site.
Emedhome, and Emedicine: These are 2 more technical sites for those wanting more in depth, technical information. Registration may be required, but is free.
Pollen.com and Allergies: These are very nice sites where you can get daily pollen counts for any location in the United States. On the Allergies site, there is very good information about allergy strategies.
NMDOH: This is a link to the New Mexico Department of Health, with general and breaking news. For epidemiologic trends, such as flu shot availability and advisability, this is the place. There is also information on many public health issues.
